Here's what the AreUaStar Casting Directors are looking for:
• a sense of self-confidence
• a spark that leaps off the screen
• the ability to transmit and translate a story to the viewer.
These are the intangible "it" factors that Casting Directors look for when an actor comes in the door. While you may not yet be a trained actor, most Casting Directors will agree that the STAR factor comes without training - you either have "it" or you don't.
Once AreUaStar's Casting Team reviews your submitted video, you will receive personalized feedback via our Are U a Star form. If you don't have a video camera, but want to get input on the "castability" of your look, then send us a photo (preferably a professionally taken headshot) and we'll give you feedback on the shot and whether it would make it past our desk.
